This was some awesome diving from Night Diving on Friday night to first time on scuba with the Colwell family on Saturday to diving the incredible walls and purple coral gardens of Farnsworth Banks.....no other dive store takes you to all of these places in just one weekend??

If you are looking into getting into scuba for the first time...please read this before spending hours on our super cool website.  Diving is a life support orientated sport. Unlike things like bowling, soccer and vollyball, it requires a certain amount of disipline and common sense to be comfortable in a hostile environment like the ocean.

With that being said, SSA knows you have choices you need to make to become a certified scuba diver. Time, money, and safety just to name a few.  The diving industry is full of quickey, short and unprofessional diving programs. If you are looking for that type of program...please save yourself the time an look no further in this website.  If you are concerned with your safety and you want to be taught by the best the diving industry has to offer...then please stay.

The typical diving certification program is a two to three day program...THIS IS NOT ONE OF THEM.  It takes weeks, sometimes even months,  to develop safe diving habits. We will not certify you as a diver until you have developed your habits.  Our instructors have been trained to hold your hand through every step of the the instruction process to assure your safety and comfortability.  All of our instructors are full time instructors. You won't have "Bob the Builder or Billy in the Bike Department" as one of your instructors. We are not here to sell you a certification card.....period.

SSA now requries all CCR divers to fill this page out before each CCR dive. The page is given to the divemaster or travel opporator to give additonal reassurance that the diver has done the right things to keep him safe. Feel free to copy it, share it and use it.
